Oletteko katsoneet tv:stä Uusi elämä maalla tai Grand Desings (Unelma-asunnot)? Etenkin tuossa ensimmäisenä mainitussa usein talon rakentamisen sijaan keskitytään remontoimaan ja uudistamaan jotain vanhaa, kuten latoa tai navettarakennusta asuinrakennukseksi. Meidän asuinalueelta löytyi kuvassa näkyvä talo, joka lienee joskus ollut navetta. Ihastuin heti, tosin itse olisin puhkonut vähän enemmän seinää isompien ikkunoiden tieltä, jotta valo pääsisi paremmin sisälle.
Have you seen Build A New Life In The Country or Grand Designs? These two shows are all about building and renovating. Especially the the first one mentioned often shows a project of renovating an old farm house or barn and transforming them as a home. We found the house on the picture from our neighborhood, and I guess it originally might have been a cattle shed or a stable. I fell in love with it, although I would have demolished some wall in order to place larger windows so that the light could float through better.
